Doug knows hundreds of songs and performs in a variety of settings.  This flexibility along with more than twenty years of experience gives him the ability to create just the right mood for your event.

SOLO PIANO

Doug excels at setting a mood that keeps the room energized while allowing conversation to continue.  He enjoys playing your guests’ requests, but they can expect to hear a wide mix of music from The Beatles, Tom Petty, and Frank Sinatra.

PIANO & VOCALS

…from mellow and subtle to a high-energy piano bar, Doug will entertain your audience for hours.  Styles range from oldies to eighties, crooning to country up to current hits.  His favorite songwriters include Billy Joel, The Beatles, Tom Petty, Bruce Hornsby and Elton John.

DOUG HARE TRIO

Doug Hare Trio lays down an energetic mix of rock, indie, hard bop and contemporary jazz that gives the standards a fresh, crowd-pleasing workout. Hare, Troy Kunkler and Steve Perakis have nailed the in-the-moment communication and well-honed sense of groove that fuels exciting improvisation. A must-hear, must-see outfit.

LOVE NOTE (PIANO  & VIOLA)

Love Note is the collaboration between Doug and Emily Ng on viola and violin.  Their repertoire spans from Mozart to Radiohead and hits lots of alternative, country and folk along the way.  They play more than just weddings, as they are ideal for cocktail receptions and gallery openings.

ACOUSTIC & VOCALS

Perhaps your space is limited or you simply want the rock-country mix that a guitar can bring.  Doug has entertained regularly for years with his acoustic and will bring down the house.

DOUG HARE BAND

Doug is a songwriter and enjoys playing his songs, as well as meaningful covers.  His style is country-tinged alternative rock and enjoys covering The Beatles, Tom Petty and Wilco.

They have been known to play a bar or a private party and crowds agree that they put on a great show!
